The DLAC Centre AGM will be held @ 7:30 8th March

This season's Centre AGM will be held in the Clubhouse @ 7:30pm 8th March.

This year all of the centre council positions up open for nomination and election (barring Secretary) and a couple of members will be leaving as their children have moved on, so if you would like to be involved you can take your pick.

You can find a description of the current committee here and the position descriptions here

If you're curious about what goes on behind the scenes visit the clubhouse during a competition session. There's no obligation (plus - the clubhouse is air-conditioned, heated and waterproof...)

Middle-Distance Club

The Middle-Distance Club trains Monday afternoons @ 4:30pm and is open to all DLAC Athletes U9-U15. Contact Peter Sharpe for details.

The Club has been going for a few weeks now and has had a fantastic turnout on Monday nights at 4.30 pm at the track for some specific middle distance training. This club is designed for those athletes U9 and above that want some extra fitness and endurance.

This club will continue throughout the year and will form the basis of winter cross training. Come down Monday nights. ( we will be changing to Tuesday nights in March).

Wednesday Coaching

Training this week will be built around Program 3 events. Make sure you get down at 4.20 for warm up so we can get started straight away.

Numbers have been great so keep up the good work. remember your water bottles and have a snack straight after school so you have plenty of energy for training.

Come up to me anytime and I will organize specific training if required - Peter Sharpe

Parents please don't treat Aths Training as a crèche and just drop off your kids.
Get involved, talk to other parents, support your kids. The turn out for training has been fantastic, as has the kids enthusiasm.

Warmups start at 4:20 with training from 4:30
Please don't forget your Water Bottles and Hats
