• There are 6 clubs at the Doncaster Centre and schools in the area are allocated to these clubs. We encourage families towards these clubs however it is your choice as to which club you choose because of family or friends etc. Choose any club if you don’t go to any of these schools.

• Any boy or girl may register during the season once they have turned five. See attached for your young athlete’s age group.

• All new registrations must produce "Proof of age" - birth certificate, passport etc

• U6, U7 & U8s (Children born after 30 September 2002) participate in our "On Track" Program. This is a skills based program where the children learn the basics of running, jumping and throwing in a fun atmosphere with lots of opportunity to participate. We encourage parent participation as well.

  This is normally on Saturday mornings from 8:30am to 10:00am but there will be a number of Friday nights in the season where our littlies compete with the U9 - U15 year olds from 6:00pm.

• U9 – U15s compete in Track & Field Program from 10:00am to approximately 12:30 mostly on Saturdays however there are a number of twilight events held on Friday nights starting at 6:00pm.

Events conducted are: 70m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Hurdles, Long, Triple and High Jumps, Discus, Shot Put and Javelin (U11-U15 only). See attached program.

• There are also other opportunities for competition for U9 – U15 outside of these times – Region and State Relay competition, Region and State T&F and State Multi Event  - See General Information Page

• Training is on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30. See Coaching Page

• The T&F summer season runs from 2nd October 2010 – 18th December 2010 and resumes after
  Christmas on 22nd January 2011 until 26th March 2011. (See attached season calendar) This is followed by the Cross Country season which is run on Sundays during winter from 3rd April 2011 to 31st July 2011.

• The fees for U6 – U8 athletes - $120 and U9 – U15 athletes - $150. The Centre Council has decided to continue its all inclusive fee structure which we hope  encourages all athletes' full attendance at every possible event.  This includes all the special days at Doncaster (such as Open Day, Multi Event, Handicap Day and Centre Champs) and external events such as Region & State Relays, T&F and Multi Event Championships as well as the Cross Country season.  (It does not include uniform costs).  If you are having difficulty paying these fees, please don't hesitate to speak to your Club President regarding payment options.

• Athletes are also required to wear a club uniform. (aprrox $30 - $50)

• To Register please bring the completed "Registration Form + Parents' Charter" above, Proof of Age (for new members)  and your payment to Registration Day or competition day - Cash or cheque only - We do not accept Credit Cards

• Please do not try to register on line.

• If you are uncertain whether your little person will like Little Aths, you are welcome to one free trial on any competition day. (except 18th December – Doncaster Open Day)

• There is a duty roster and it is a condition of registration that Parents perform their allocated duty
