OPEN TO ALL DONCASTER U6 TO U15 ATHLETES – BOYS AND GIRLS

TIME: 9am till approx 12:30pm

(Note: 9am start for ALL athletes)

AWARDS:  Trophies are awarded to all 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place getters in each age group for boys and girls, after the completion of all disciplines for their multi event.

ENTRY:
• All registered Doncaster Little Athletics Centre athletes from U 6 to U15 are eligible to compete.
• No Entry fee (That’s right it’s FREE).

EVENTS:
• U6 to U8's - 70m, 100m, Long Jump & Vortex (U8 Shot Put)
• U9-15’s - 100m, 80/90/100m hurdles, 800m, Long Jump & Discus.

SCORING
• Points are awarded for the athlete’s performance at each discipline using the official VLAA Multi Event Scoring Tables. (A hybrid point scoring table will be used for U6, U7, U8 as VLAA do not run multi events for these age groups)
• The winner is the athlete who has accumulated the highest number of aggregate points over all event disciplines.
• Progressive scores and updates of Performances and Points will be displayed throughout the session, so that athletes can check the progress of their performances.
• Athletes need to complete all 4 disciplines for U6-8 athletes and all 5 disciplines for U9-15 athletes to have the best chance of winning.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
 • Athletes must complete the entry form and hand to your Club Team Manager
 • Athletes can compete in the Doncaster Centre Uniform or their Club Uniform with IGA Patch attached.
 • Parents will be required for Duty & to Officiate on the day.

OTHER CONDITIONS:
• Normal weekly inter club meeting competition arrangements and conditions apply, including use of running spikes, correct uniform wear including patch, etc.

CLOSING DATE:
• Club Team Manager must receive the entry form no later than the end of
Friday 11th December 2009.
• NB: It may not be possible to accept entries on the day of the multi event competition.
